DT 140 hp 1992

I have a dt 140hp with 190 lbs compression on all 4 cylinders. The motor is extremely low in hours and starts on a dime. Problem is once its accelerated it dyes. when you decelerate it shuts off. Checked fuel pump and all looks good. Clean carbs are all new filters through out the fuel system. acts as if running out of fuel but does not improve when fuel is manually pumped.
Great spark and all looks brand new. What should I look for?

You checked fuel pump? Did you look at the check valves there? Or just diaphragms?

Cleaned & rebuilt carbs. How did you clean them, and what actually did you do? Were they dirty, was there anything inside, other than clean fuel? When put back together, what did you set the air-mix idle screws at (by manual?)?

Post back, help us with as much info as you can. ” not many hours on motor”, does this mean the motor sets up for extended periods of time? Outdoors, garage?
