tach codes, 1+4 flashes?

2002 DF140, runs fine, but showing this code......
Just replaced a rectifier to correct a 17.5 volt charging problem.

Now, I'm getting a 1+4 flashing code that won't clear when I try to re-set it at the key sequence.

Any help or suggestions?

Temp sensor code 1-4 cannot be cleared by any key sequence. It is self clearing when the fault condition is resolved. If you're sure your engine is not overheating, then replace the cylinder temp sensor.
