Recommended Fuel (Ethanol %, Octane and Stabilizer/Additive) for Suzuki 2.5hp OB

I just purchased a new 2.5hp Suzuki outboard. What is the recommended unleaded fuel, including maximum ethanol %, and octane?

Also, what stabilizer(s)/additives do you recommend to minimize the negative effects of ethanol on the motor?

Refer to your owners manual for recommended fuel, and use that.

In a small engine like that, rather than store fuel with stabiliser, I would simply drain the tank if I wasn't going to use the motor for a while, and use the fuel in the car or lawnmower, and refill with fresh fuel when planning to use the motor.

And if possible, avoid ethanol fuel, simply because it absorbs water too easily and can eventually get to phase separation levels.
