Hi !
I am a new member and have a strange fault in suzuki df 90.
Motor had a check engine code 2-3 ( IAT sensor). The wires were broken and when i fixed it everything was alright.
Couple of days after that the engine didnt start. It cranked but didnt start.
I have checked following items
- ecm power (white wire ) is alright
- ecm relay clicks (ok)
- emergency switch
- ignition switch
- cleaded a IAC valve
- changed a spark plugs
- high pressure fuel pump is buzzering when you turn ignition on, ok !
Ignition coils are ok, spark is ok
Engine starts a little bit when you crank it but dies out.
Spark plugs were very wet about gasoline ??
At last i pulled out the high pressure fuel pump coupling, the engine started for a couple of seconds .
Then i checked the fuel pressure regulator, it seems to be ok, because in 2.5bar it fell off the pressure.
It seems like engine gets too much fuel for a some reason.
What could cause this kind of sympton ?
Stucked fuel pressure regulator (tested, seems to be ok)
Ecm module ( some sensor wants too much fuel?? )
Best Regards A new member from Finland
