revisiting forum with same problem incase anyone has new ideas.
1998 dt150 efi engine runs however tps alarm on constantly.
have changed the battery cables,tps sensor,wirng harness,spark plugs etc.
have disconnected remotes and gauges but harness still sends out fault beeps
the voltage to tps is 5.03 and tps output is 0.6
if the output voltage dropped below 0.48 alarm disappears but engine runs poor and bogs in gear.if tps disconnected alarm disappears but engine will not rev out.
I could live with the alarm sounding but fuel consumption is off the chart.
using around 40 euro of fuel just running engine in barrel.
water in barrel is also seriously black,not sure if from oil,fuel or just exhaust smoke.
could any of this be causing the tps alarm or is it down to ecu.
I was told that the ecu,s don't give problems its something else.
if your reading this solarman I would really appreciate your help.from what ive read you are the most informed on dt;s and all their quirks.
