Hey there,
Suzuki gives no choice between analog and digital gauges because of the wireless system they use for the 300HP engines.
I have continuous issues with one or the other gauges blanking out completely. The gauges are operating, you just have NO display and can't see what is there.
The only way to restore the gauges is to shutoff the engine and restart OR to shutoff the battery switch and then, it comes back to the screen.
The factory has replaced the gauges 3 times now (I have a total of 89 hours on the engines).
It's obvious that it is not the gauges but something else.
Interesting note, I originally had 250's installed on this boat and didn't like the engines so they installed brand new in the box 300's including the computer, harness, etc. The 250's had the same exact issue with the gauges however, they were replaced twice since the new engines have been installed.
I went to the dealership that did my 3-6 code O2 sensor replacement and they had no fix other than turn the power off, turn it back on and live with it. In my opinion, a terrible thing to tell a customer that had $40,000 worth of engines installed.
Any suggestions?
Thanks guys
Cheers
