  • Hit rock and bent shaft

I have a 23 foot center console with a DF200T. While fishing a boulder field I hit a submerged rock doing about 6 mph. Put some good dings and gouges in the prop and bent the shaft. After limping home and pulling the boat I drained and replaced the gear oil. The old oil didn't appear to have any water in it. Although the prop spun off kilter, it didn't wobble loosely and rotated smoothly. I think I just need to order a gear case seal kit and prop shaft. Is there anything else I should inspect or replace?

    Thanks

I have a 90 and have bent the prop shaft twice, submerged wood/log. First time I replaced the shaft, seals and lube. The second time my FIL straightened the shaft and I replaced the seals and lube.
