Try this (don't ask why, because I cannot give you a cogent answer).....
Turn off your battery switch, then disconnect both the positive and negative cables that go to your motor from your battery bank. Then turn the battery switch back on, turn on the ignition switch, and touch the two cables (positive and negative) to each other to dissipate any residual voltage. Turn your ignition and battery switches back off, and reconnect the cables to the battery.
Don't blame me if it doesn't work.Mike

Swapped the Stbd. CPU to the PORT engine and the oil change indicator stayed on.( Was the stbd engine that would not reset) Followed procedure for reset and WALLA we have normal conditions again. So I guess when motors were installed instead on installing twin kill switches the cpu was installed to the port motor and would not reset. Will have to check it out further and see what is up p--Again thanks for suggestions.

Mike, for the sake of no embarrassment, I knew that procedure from resetting computers on cars, especially when a battery will fall below 12volts. Guess the guy who I let set up these motors found it un important to connect both engines to the kill switch. I feel like an idiot for not trying the swap earlier. Thanks to the forum for all the help.
