Been having an issue with my engine. At idle the oil light will come on and it will make about one second beep. It will also sometimes start to bog down once you get on plane and just surge like it's starving for fuel. If you try to hold it at WOT when it's bogging it smokes very badly like it's loading up. Once you can get it to run WOT the check engine light will start to flicker. Not flash but flicker. At 5500 rpm's it is a steady very fast flicker. At lower rpm's it barely illuminates but you can see it flickering. Never seen the engine light do a sequence flash nor a beeping with the flicker. And also after a WOT run you can back out of the gas to like 2500 and as soon as the rpm's fall back the oil light comes on and the buzzer along with the limit light. Has about 275 hours on it and oil is full.
