New member needing help with a 95 225 efi suzuki

    If its not already posted in this thread...the ability to read fuel pressure to the rail is fairly simple but very important...you need a couple of 1/4 t-fittings 10-20 feet of 1/4 inch fuel line and a pressure gauge that reads 0-100psi...contact me if its not easily found...many of my posts tell how to do it...if your fuel pressure is good or bad takes you down many different paths to a fix but good fuel pressure rules out many things

      Well I think I found the problem. There was a leak on top of the VST tank, the hose that runs from the LP pump was leaking bad. I did pull and rebuilt both pumps and they did not look that bad inside.

        Yes, that leak could surely cause your problems. At higher rpms when fuel flow is maxing out, your motor could be pulling air if suction is greater than the pump pressures.

        Good luck, post back when able on how the repairs work out.

          Yeap that was it. Went out for a ride today and she did great, no more surging and she runs like a top now, again thanks so much for you help Solarman.
