But before running it again (find the hose off the top of fuel rail(s), and disconnect that line (rubber hose) that goes back to the vst (disconnect it at the vst). Put that line into a jar/ container, and turn the key on to the first position. The HP fuel pump should push the old fuel out of the fuel rail into the container. Only turn the key on for 3-5 seconds. If fuel doesn't come out clean yet, do another 3-5 seconds. This should clear the bad fuel out of the rail. Reconnect the hose back. Then fire it up on muffs, if not running better, try the squirt bottle like I said.
Once you clean that hp filter screen, it should be fine, unless it is torn. If not torn reinstall it.
Let us know how it works. good luck.Attached FilesLast edited by stratos20; 08-26-2015, 03:24 PM.

Ok. Yes fuel was bad. Are you still running on portable tank, and did you add a good cleaner additive to fuel? Something that will clean injectors, and fuel system?
Can you try the boat in the water now? It may run poorly at first. I am hopeful that flushing through the fuel system, then adding the cleaner, you may be able to get the motor to open up and clear out any remaining old fuel. But run it in the water near as possible to landing just in case of problems. Then let us know how its running.
I am still concerned if injectors will need to be cleaned?
Post us back when possible. Good luck.

No not yet. Do you have a service manual?
The next thing to check would be the stator. You originally had a burned out rectifier, and i'm wondering if that was part of the damage caused by the stator?
So the check of your stator needs to be checked according to the service manual for your year and motor.
Post back when able. Everything you've done this far is good. But check stator before spending money on other areas for now. Good luck.

Pulled the fuel rail and injectors and will bench test them tomorrow to see if they are all working, 2 of them did have the o-rings almost gone. I also noticed the hose that comes from the top low pressure pump into a T was bone dry, had to pull it off to get the fuel rail out, no fuel came out of the LP pump either is this normal? I haven't had a chance to test the stator output yet I was told I needed a dva to do so or could it be tested with just a regular digital voltmeter? Suzuki manual sucks by the way.

Try it again just made it public. I think its running a whole lot better, found out the plugs were the wrong ones with the wrong gap so I re-gapped them, I flushed the injectors myself at home and lots of crap came out of them like pieces of rubber so they were defenetly clogged. Will test on water sometime this week and report back.

Bam, how bout back off. You have only added negative comments since you started, so ”kindly take a hike”, and let some of us try and help him.
Stratos, if wrong plugs, did you change them? Re-gapping wrong plugs may not help much?
Also, if getting lots of black matter in fuel, then you may have fuel lines breaking down internally, and need to replace them (replace with ethanol resistant lines). This is normally caused by the ethanol fuel. Unless you replace those fuel lines, they will continue to deteriorate and block screens and injectors.
If you have no fuel from low pressure pump(s), then this too should be looked at. You may have cracked, or damaged check valves (clear discs in base of pump body), or the diaphragms may be bad? New check valves ONLY come with new pumps.
Check these things, and post back what you find out. Good luck.
