Hello, I have just bought a boat with a Suzuki DT28 ouitboard. The wiring for the ignition switch is there - but no switch.
I have, blue/red, yellow, white, brown, black and orange wires.
I have seen the chart with a list of outboard wiring colour codes but these have "multi-choice " options.
I am fairly sure what the all do except the yellow, (possible the tach)
Does anyone know for sure? I don't want anything "going up in smoke", Many thanks, Alan.
