Merc Prop fit Zuke DF140?

Hi all,

I am needing to upsize my prop from 17" to 20-21 preferably stainless. I have sourced a stainless Turning Point 21", and 2x different Mercury stainless props as follows:

1 x Mercury Mirage Plus, 3 blade ss, 21p used but in good condition $250 plus hub kit $70
1 x Mercury Laser 2, 3 blade ss, 21p used but in very good condition $300 plus hub kit.$70.

Any comments on good/bad and the ugly? The Turning point prop is apparently coming off a DF 140 so will assume it will slip straight on. But will i have to stuff around with shims etc for the Merc ones?

Not familiar with either of those.

I'm running a Suzuki 3x 14x20" stainless on my DF115. Local Zuke dealer says that is the most popular prop on the 115/140 series engines, and outperforms the Solas equivalent by a fair margin. You may be able to find one of them on eBay etc of you are lucky.

Id love one of those mate. Just can not find one! Ive heard of the mirage and lazer props before but only on mercs.

Never had anything to do with turning point? Its the one with the vent hole in the hub..
