I am having to rebuild my df 70 after only 600-700 hours. The top piece of the two pistons broke off to wear you could see the top piston ring. I have ordered over size pistons and rings but the machinist doesn't think it will be enough, is there any other over size pistons available, if so where and how? Thanks Jerry aka ucanfish2

I would have thought your machinist would have suggest getting it bored and sleeved back to standard bore size, but it would be expensive. -

I am presently waiting on the machinist for two weeks now. Suzuki only offers .050 mm on the pistons, the machinist stated it could take possible take more to fix the problem and yes, it will be bored out and if I have to have it sleeved then that's ok. I just don't know if it can be sleeved? There is only one cylinder that is the major problem the other one showed very little issues.
