What runs best in dt 140 oil injected 1991 motor? Quicksilver seems to plug my oil filter sensor once in a while? Usually comes out of it but must not like it or something. Maybe to thick? Not sure. If I crank the rpms up here and there it will have oil light beep. As soon as I let off let idle a sec then hit again goes away for a long time. Like days and weeks but will always pop up here and there again?

If filter/sensor is acting up (as it sounds), it might be wise to replace? I haven't heard of 2 stroke oil being too thick? If quicksilver is truly the only oil doing this, I think I would buy a different oil. You can not afford problems in oil flow at any RPMs. If staying away from quicksilver fixes your problem, I would stay away from it.
If other oils do same thing, I would check/ clean/ or replace that filter/ flow sensor.

I used Pennzoil full synthetic in my '98 115 two stroke with great success. I was very happy with it although the cost was high per gallon.Comment
