Howdy all,
i've got a dt25 - that has barely been used. I would say it had a season on it and then stored for 15 years or more. I think its like a 1998 model.
at any rate.
it starts and idles fantastic. It's kind of amazing.
in neutral it revs up like crazy.
but in gear or under load - it doesn't go over half throttle.
i checked the fuel pump and it isn't starving for fuel it pumps great.
it also seems to be burning an intense amount of fuel.
I've cleaned the carbs and they are super clean. new plugs.
i really can't understand what the problem is - unless its the throttle position sensor.
has this kind of thing happened to anyone else?
any tips would be appreciated.
