wont get above 2500 rpm in water

I have a 1995 Suzuki 115 ...... It runs fine in driveway but soon as I put my boat in the water it wont get above 2500 rpm .... Any suggestions or has anyone else had this issue

Are there any codes flashing on monitor gauge?

Does anything happen if you pump bulb when running at highest RPMs?

Do you have a manual for your motor?

What happened when it first started running like this? Did you look at anything? How long has it been since last running good? Have you poured contents of fuel filter/separator into glass container to see if trash or water is in fuel?

Is this motor carb'd or EFI?

Post back if able to help us with any other info.

Check tps, fuel pump, or rectifier / regulator, oil filter sensor

what have you done so far? You started this thread in may this year? What's been done?
Does this motor have carbs? Or fuel injection?

Or is this a copy of another thread?
