I just replaced my water pump and it works fine for about a minute until thermostats open. I believe. then it stops peeing and gets hot. I turned it off. Is it because thermostats aren't opening.
Try telling us what motor you have (they are different), and how are you flushing/ running motor? If flush attachment, what kind?
Also what was your original problem, that caused the new pump?
