Stainless Steel Propellor selection for DT25C

I need help with the correct selection for a stainless steel propellor prop for my suzuki 1997 dt25C. I am happy with my current aluminum 10.25 X 13 prop, but would like to upgrade to a stainless. Should I move down to a 10.25 X12. I don't have a tach or any way to check the rpms. The carolina skiff J16 I have it on is rated for up to a 40hp, but the 25 does well now. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Yes the 12 pitch SS should work, you normally drop down in pitch when going from alum to SS prop.
