Upgrading DF 150 to 175

I would like to Know what need to be done to Upgrade a 2014 engins DF150 to 175 ?

Not something you'd want to do as a typical shade tree mechanic. Different cams profiles, probably a different ECM. But most challenging is the addition of all the apparatus to convert to VVT (variable valve timing), which is the main difference between the two motors.

So not only would it be challenging mechanically, but the I doubt that your return in HP would be worth the investment in $$.

I'd like to get the new DF200A (same 4 cylinder displacement, just a few pounds heavier), and slap a 175 decal on it (my boat's only rated to 175HP)
