  • engine holder corrosion

After reading all the posts about this I took my covers off to check my plug. There is no plug above the water wash out spot. There are 2 of those plugs to the right of it. This is a 2007 DF115. I heard that they changed this in 08. Am I lucky or is it one of the other plugs. Thanks

When Suzuki switched away from the engine holder plug is it simply gone or was it replaced with something else. In my picture you can see where the plug was but a cap looks to be installed. I've been trying to find a picture of a newer motor to compare.

It looks to me like they simply stopped machining the holder for the plug. The other plugs you mentioned are not problematic.

Thanks bud. I looked at it again today. That area looks to be sealed up from the factory. Just a small indintion were the plug would be. Maybe I got lucky and my 07 was fixed before selling the motor.

Although built in 2007, yours is probably a 2008 model year. So you can relax!
