I need info on ordering bearings for crank and rods. How do you know which parts are appropriate. I am rebuilding two new motors that were never run but suffered salt water intrusion.
You have to have the service manual with the crank, block and rod codes and bearing charts along with using plastiguage measurements to determine correct bearings.
