motors warmed up and ran good at home and at the ramp.Pulled out of the harbor and when throttle was about 4000 rpm one motor stalled then would clear up.Went trolling for about 5 hrs. and motor would bog off and on.Almost like starving for fuel. When I got back into the harbor I ran motors almost full throttle for couple spins around the bay and motors ran fine.Trailored home and ran motor and motor idled real rough.Next day ran motor again and idled fine but having a slight miss (hicup like) every so often.Tried switching fuel lines from other motor as both motors are on seperate tanks and filters.Still running with miss.Planning on checking plugs next...any ideas after that?

Suppose you could check the IAC, make sure it's clean (clean with throttle body cleaner. Also the MAP sensor and hose that connects to it. Check hose for any crud. You've not provided a whole lot of info, so don't know your year, or if there have been any alarms or lights involved. How about the fuel system......rail, injectors, filters, VST.....checked any of that?Mike

while trying to trouble shoot this problem also noticed that there is lot of white smoke on start up and noticed a oil like film on the water thats coming out of the exhaust.I am running at home on the hose. This does not happen on the other motor....any ideas what to check.Could all this be tied in to one problem?
