  • Suzuki 4" multifunction gauge

    Hello
I Sold my boat and already did the order for the next new one expecting for december/january

I plan to install as my other boat, 2 x 4" Suzuki Gauges .

    My Question:
I would like to get the fuel level tank and the water level tank
Is it possible to get both level on the gauges ?

    How should I do ?

    Thanks

You got me lost on your question. Are you saying both fuel and water level on one gauge or two. And is it one fuel tank? Why would you need a water level gauge. Sorry for my ignorance. Trying to learn more too.

To obtain the readouts you're seeking, you'd need to install the Lowrance EP-15 fluid level sensors in the tanks, then calibrate the levels on the gauges. (Golly folks, looky here.....I can post as "Harper" for the first time in 6-7 months)........

        new boat order

That's great Mike, thought we were all stuck with #2...but, seconds is better than none.lol
Does he need to have the nema system, or any other electronics tied in?
Does it matter what motor(s) is used.

Doesn't matter what motors he refers to. All the components, the gauges and the EP-15 sensors, all use the NMEA 2000 network as the connection.

              Thanks Harper
understood that to get the fresh water tank level , I just need an EP-15 fluid level sensor ...Perfect !

Why get the water level on the fresh water tank ? ( just to know the water remaining in the tank )
Because I don't like to get more weight then the necessary onboard

If I can get 60 kg less ............. Better fuel consumption

And the fuel in France is so expensive that it make sense to avoid any fuel waste .....And anyway in a winter time I dont need to get fresh water onboard
