I was going to change my impeller this past saturday. After inspection, impeller looked great. So i reinstalled lower unit. Started motor and tell tale is not the pressure it was before dropping unit. Ran motor hard for 10 minutes with no problems. Tell tale just has low pressure at idle. Should i be concerned with this? Appreciate the help, duck season starts saturday and dont want to be dead in water. Ran heavy fishing line i tell tale to no avail

would look at how many hours or how old is the impeller?
should be changed every couple hundred hours or every year depending on use
if you had a good stream before.. would indicate something might not have gone back together correctly
I have not pulled my motor apart, the dealer did the last change on my '06 175
however, I have reviewed the schematics and there are some o rings in the piping from the water pump to the motor housing
something may not have gone back together correctly
