Df30 water pressure valve

Hello everyone:
I am new to this forum. I need help.
I have installed new water pump, thermostat. Pumped water up copper pipe water flows to thermostat. Checked everything in the pump area. Bought new water pressure valve but cannot find the place it goes. The diagram just shows the part.
Can someone please tell me were it Goes?

I was told the water pressure valve is in the oil pan and they didn't think this was my problem. I have checked and rechecked the water pump. If I put lower unit in trash can of water, hook hose to flush out,water flows up in the thermostat housing and pee hole. But will not when run only in the can. The only thing I didn't replace in the pump was the pump cover. My next step is the pump cover.

df30 location of pressure valve

On the DF25 you remove 5 screws holding on starboard engine cover and remove cover. 3 bolts then have to be removed where the garden hose flush fitting is and the pressure valve is under that housing.

I have a 2016 DF30a Dose anyone know the location of the thermostat?
