how does a crank come apart in the middle

i have an 82 suzuki dt25 2 cylinder and my need to change the middle seal. how does it come apart? i know may will have to take to an engineer but would like to know in case i can do it myself.

I, would seriously consider before you do that, download a manual, because putting it back together can be a nightmare if you take it apart wrong and something breaks, the manual will also give you a check list to look at while your in there.

i might take it in to the engineers to do when i make up my mind if i will just purchase a new outboard or continue spending money on this one trying to find out why it wont idle.
