I was cleaning my carbs and oil injector pump recently, and while I had the carbs off, I decided to see what sorts of readings I could get on my TPS installed on the lower carb.
I didn't take the TPS off, rather just used my tester probes to touch the pins ni the connector. I was able to get a reading of 9.7 kohm fully closed and 4.1 fully opened.
I know in the manual they give a chart for doing some calculations based on voltage and the manual wants you to do this test with the sensor installed, connected, and using some expensive test connector. But I've seen others chime in as to what to look for in resistance numbers for a TPS before .. so figured I would post and see what anyone hs say for these. .
