I have a problem that's got worse over time and I have no Suzuki dealers with authorized techs anywhere near me. No other dealer will even bother to look at it. I've had a few independent guys monkey with it and no results. The problem is the motor starts and idles on, but under power it cuts out when I adjust the trim even just a touch. Its got so bad now we don't dare take it out cuz it dies when it cuts out now. We've been generally pleased with this boat (24ft Fisher) and the motor has been reliable. I'm frustrated b/c I can't find anyone to take a loom at it who seems even remotely qualified to fix it. Looking for advice - where can I take this near northwest Mississippi to get.it fixed?

reliable service location near you
Bthorsburg, your best chance at finding a location to service your Suzuki, is do a search for Suzuki dealers/ repair locations for your zip code area. Most of us here have no idea where you are, or where a service center close to you might be.
For the problem you have on your motor. I would say the same as keakar. You might look at all the wiring on your motor for any corrosion, or loose connectors. Apparently one, or more connections, either to your trim system, or to your motor operating system, or ground connections have stopped making connection. As a result when you hit the trim switch it is pulling the power it needs from the operating system causing your problem. You may need to unplug and clean all connectors, and grounding connections to start. And because it started intermittently, then got worse/ always doing it, makes me visualize corrosion building up to break the connection?
Good luck.Last edited by Solarman; 08-17-2014, 08:43 AM.

as solarman mentioned go to the Suzuki.com website and they have a link to "find the nearest dealer" based on your zip code area and bring it there to be serviced.
