DF 2.5 Fuel Filter

I have a 2011 DF 2.5 that never ran quite right. I have now cleaned the carb. and found a clogged jet and other signs of debris, but I can't locate the fuel filter. It's not in the tank, fuel line or shutoff valve.

Any help would be appreciated.

did u disassemble the shutoff valve? there have a net in it. U should disassemble it and clean it, or change a new net.

Yes I did, and there is no screen. I had done this once before in the field, maybe I dropped the screen without knowing it.

I have ordered a new shutoff valve. The parts diagram shows what looks like an inline fuel filter protruding from the tank side of the valve, that fits inside the tank nipple. Either way, it sounds like that will solve my problem.
