put the boat in first time this yr starts up stalls on and on.change filter same thing,disconnect fuel line and put in gas can with fresh gas,same thing checked white ecm wire its good checked fuel line no bends.eng has about 50 hr.Starts up shakes run then dies.ANY IDEAS?????

could be trash blocked injectors or maybe the pickup screen on the bottom of the fuel pump is blocked with varnish.

to clean the fuel pump screen without taking it all apart, drain the gas completely from it then fill it with 97% iso-alcohol and let sit overnight then drain that out and immediately fill with fresh gas and run it. that should cure any varnish blocking issues because the alcohol will dissolve it safely without harming any plastic or rubber parts in the system.

its also a slower acting but great alternative to harsh carb dips but it needs to be cleaned or flushed out before the gunk dries or the varnish rehardens.
