Gas Leak

I just bought a new DF2.5 and tried to start it today. When I turned the fuel cock to on, gas started leaking from the bottom of the float. Dealer is 50 miles away, any suggestions on how to fix?

tap on the float bowl with a screwdriver handle, its probably just not seated correctly.

this can happen anytime with portables because you lay them down all the time carrying them
