DT 225. no spark across from the right side of the engine

hi everybody,
has a DT225 which after a few minutes from boating crashes at max 3000 rpm and goes bad in the engine when you try to give it more revs
have found out that it is the loss of the spark in the spark plugs in the entire right side of the engine.
some have an estimate of the error can be.

Do you have a service manual? How old is the motor, and have you checked anything for this problem?
Check the gear counting coil, and pulse coils for continuity, and wire connectors for each.
If have a manual, check wiring diagram for which timing/ pulse coils operate that side of engine.
You might also check the ground connections for the ignition coils on that side.

to verify this you need 2 people and a timing light...you must remove the plastic wire protection from the spark plug wires to get an accurate reading...does it happen at low speed or high speed? Is it really all 3 plugs on one side...The good side will flash quickly and steady with no missing gaps in the light flash...the bad side will be be all broken up when its failing. If its all 3 plugs its a main stator coil under the flywheel. if its less than 3 then its a timing coil or something else..if its all 3 you can swap the output wires of the high speed coil and the problem will switch to the opposite bank..do a search for "missing at speed" by seaox230c..I did a real lot of troubleshooting 2 years ago

If its at EXACTLY 3000 rpm then its a computer controlled shutdown and you should have a buzzer or light ..it will skip all the plugs to make it smooth but you will not get a hair above 3000...if you get a little above 3000 or intermittent above 3000 then its not a computer driven reduction
