I recently purchased a skiff with a 115 four stroke on the back. If you punch the throttle the motor will hesitate a couple seconds and then fire off. Its weird because it only happens when you take off. If you ease into the throttle it will respond. The problem is when pulling a skier the hesitation sucks. Ive replaced fuel tank, pickup tube, primer bulb, fuel line to new fuel water separator, new lines under cowling, low pressure fuel filter, low pressure fuel pump and high pressure fuel filter. And still I have the hesitation. Any help would be much appreciated.

Did you get an answer/resolution. I am having similar problem but getting a 2-2code which is ctp switch.

Nope sure didn't. Checked my thermostat today and it was locked open. Doubt that will make a difference with hesitation but it was bad. If you find anything please let me know as I will do the same if I find something. Thanks
