  • Authorized Suzuki Marine Repair

How do I know, if the mechanic at the authorized Suzuki Marine Dealer is a certified Suzuki mechanic? At this point I don’t trust what the dealer tells me.

I think that if you dont trust your dealer, then it is time to find another service centre. Trust in your dealer is very important.

Good Suzuki techs are hard to find here in the US. There are tons of authorized dealers but few with techs capable of diagnosis and repair. I am fortunate to have one within a 2 hour drive here in central Florida and I drive by at least 30 authorized dealers to get to him. Good luck finding one.

if he is certified he will have a certificate on the wall you can see so ask to see it, but you still dont know if it will be handed off to one of the other guys in the shop so as mentioned before, you need to trust the dealership or not.

looking at certificates is added insurance but still no assurance of good repairs since I know many well trained mechanics who "choose" to do or are "told to" do a "good enough to last" repairs rather then doing it the right way for the long term, just to get em in and get em out so the dealer can get paid
