  • DF70 Computer Diagnostic problem report...

Just had a computer Diagnostic run on my 99 suzuki df70 that I was tired of seeing flashing lights and long beeps and becoming consistent trouble starting.

    Report says...
    IAC valve failure (39 times)
Cylinder Temp Sensor failure (255 times)
    Fuel Injector failure (255 times)
    Low oil Pressure (22 times)
    Overheat (Gradient) (75 times)
    Overheat (Temp.) (69 times)
It also says that it has LOW OIL PRESSURE (find out why low pressure)

    says to replace:
    IAC
Cylinder Temp Sensor (which I cannot find a part number for)
    Thermostat
Injector (which part of injector I do not know)

Is there 1 thing maybe causing a trickle down effect in any of this???

    thanks,

    thanks,
many of these might be false reading at startup like cylinder temp sensor or the low oil pressure

the overheat could just be when you get stuck in the muck for a few seconds or a worn impeller so when was the last time you replaced it?

the IAC is incoming air temp (for adjusting fuel air mix) and it can be acting up if its just dirty

low oil pressure could be something but when was the last time you replaced the oil?

if low oil pressure continues and it appears to be from bearings being worn then just go up to a higher viscosity oil to make up the difference and see if you get respectable oil pressures again, if not its time to rebuild it.

fuel injector could just mean its dirty or one (or more) need replacing but it could be a fuel pump issue making it act up if it doesn't have the correct pressure on the high pressure rail.

could one thing be causing all of it? well if the ECM is bad it could be triggering false fault codes and those things may all be ok. did he test and check the ECM?

      response.

No....I am unaware if they checked the ECM...I will look on the diagnostics.
I replaced the Impeller a month ago.
I Did a complete oil change a month ago.
I replaced all spark plugs and fuel filter a month ago.
      thanks for the response.

I have to tear into it.
