Line cutter on prop shaft

The line cutter on the prop shaft behind the prop does not cut the new heavy braided lines. I learned this the hard way. It ate up the seal and water got in the lower unit and it came apart internally. Not covered under warranty. A $2500 lesson. Its a good idea to pull your props off and inspect for fishing line around the shaft periodically.
