9.9 dt cooling problem

I wondered if anyone new if Chris P had ever found the problem with cooling water flow at high revs in neutral ? I have the same engine with exactly the same problem and it's still a mystery to me

Thanks for your reply I wonder if you know of a good service manual for my engine I've looked at the clymer manual online but can't look inside so don't know if it's worth the money and asi am in the uk the postage is more than the book

no, Clymer and other manuals like that are made by people who take motors apart and write a book about what they did. they are good guides and better then nothing but buy a factory service manual, these have so much more detail and include better troubleshooting things books like clymers will never have like factory fault codes and info about other things.

google factory service manual (make sure its not the owners or maint manual)

you can find download versions to put on your computer then creat a cd copy of it for safe keeping in case your computer messes up.

often you can find the pdf parts list manual for free if you spend a little time searching for it.
