I have a '99 Suzuki 115hp EFi. When cold, the motor will start and run fine for approx. 5min. Once it shuts down it may fire for a brief moment but not all cylinders are firing. Eventually no spark in any cylinder will result. Have replaced the emergency shut off(kill switch) and checked the Neutral safety switch at the controls....can't seem to locate one at the motor. Any ideas where to look next?..thanks!

im pretty sure it will be related to the ignition timing coil on the magneto under the flywheel. its part #5 on the diagram and the part number is 32160-94620 showing a price around $110
but confirm by finding the test procedure in your service manual and see what the ohm readings on it are supposed to be and check it. pay special attention that you are testing it on the correct ohm scale so I recommend not using a test meter that auto selects the scale it uses.
