03 df115 accelerating problem

Can't get above 2500 rpm ,put a pressure gauge and when I hit 2500 to 300o rpm I lose fuel pressure it goes for 40 to 20 lbs .i changed low pressure and high pressure filters ,but still have the same problem .i think it's the fuel pump but I may be wrong .i see lots of fuel problems on the net but no solutions.need help any one has had this same problem thanks to all.its a 2003 suzuki four stroke df115 hp .it only has 375 hours

I don't know if it means anything but I cAn go out and fish all day and stay at 2000 rpms with no problems it's only when I go higher .any one has any ideas

on mine (DF40 with fuel injection) there is a high pressure bypass valve on the fuel line to the injectors that runs back to the float bowl in the vapor separator to relieve pressure on the injectors, yours may be bad and not closing all the way
