Just tried to install a 17 Pitch REV 4 last night...it clears the gearcase but does not clear the stock-full sized steering trim tab...does suzuki make a setback/offset steering trim tab...Thanks

I have seen people grind down a notch in the trim tab to allow clearance on some props but I don't know what type of room you need.

there should be at least 1/8" minimum clearance when your done

I have a question about all of this. I have a 2014 DF250SS on a 24 tri-toon that has no trim tab at all. Wonder why????

Not familiar with your type of boat but assume its a pontoon with 3 pontoons. The trim tab has 2 functions....one is to act as the sacrificial anode...it gets eaten before your motor or hull..2ndly it is used to counteract the torque of the motor driving your prop. Makes regular boats tilt or turn when you let go of the wheel. Your pontoons may act like slight rudders counteracting the motor torque. Drive at cruise speed on a clam day straight...let go of the wheel...if the boat tilts or turns then you need a trim tab. You should have at least a blanking plate installed in that spot. Saltwater uses zinc and freshwater uses something else but you at least need the blank plate
