2012 DF250 Smokes

I have a DF250 that I noticed a couple of weeks ago had some whisps of smoke coming from what looks like just under the front of the cowling. I have only noticed it when I am running it in and get to no wake and back of throttle quickly and water hits the cowling. Is this normal and I just started noticing it or is there an issue.

Smoke isn't normal but steam is when chop throttles back.

I have the same issue. When cutting back the throttle, I see steam come out of the front of the cowling. I took it in cause I thought it was smoke also. They told me everything was fine.
