SDS Diagnostic Communication

I have a 1999 DF70TL and I am attempting to better understand what interfaces I can use with this motor.

I have done a bunch of research on the SDS communication but I have had no luck finding info regarding this interface. I would love to locate the interface cable and software but to date I have been unable to find one I can purchase.

I spoke with Brownspoint and they advised that they only sell these to outside of the US. I thought also that someone would have reverse engineered the interface cable so that I can build one myself?

If you have any information on this topic or know where I might be able to locate the cable and software I would appreciate it! Thanks!

Does anyone know what versions will work with a 1999 DF70?

What are the changes between the various versions?

I do know the following:

Part No: 09932-69930-01E, Software Version 3.00 (Version released with the 1999 motors)
Part No: 09933-19810, Software Version 5.00
Part No: 09933-19812, Software Version 6.00 (works with all DF models, added MS Vista support & USB drivers)
