Last season my 2004 DF6 kicker started stalling after running fine for about 3 minutes under load. It would idle fine but when placed in gear the engine would fail. After several attempts cleaning the carb and other hopeful remedies failed I mentioned my problem to the local Suzuki service tech who asked if my priming bulb was hard and difficult to squeeze. I said yes it was and he stated that could likely be the cause of the problem. So I placed some gas in the internal fuel tank and the engine ran fine! He also said primer bulbs from some manufacturers are notorious for this problem. Another case of trying the simplest possible solutions first. Hope this info will be helpful.
