I have a '99 DT25 that I have put '89 DT30 carbs on. I did this primarily so it would idle on all three cylinders.
I have gone through the carbs from top to bottom, they are clean. I have installed new intake/carb gaskets, bowl gaskets and bowl caps. I adjusted he air/fuel screw 2 turns out from the fully seated position. The motor will start and idle oaky, except I have to keep it idled a little higher than I would like. If I idle it down and put it under load (in gear in a tank) it will idle for a few seconds (~20 to 30 seconds) and then sneeze and die.
Am I trying to idle it to low?
