Hey guys, I’m a newbie to the forum here and was hoping to see if anyone could help me answer a question or two.
I’ve had a couple DT25/30’s over the last few years, but am now down to two. One is a 1999 DT25 which is my running motor and one is a 1989 DT30 parts motor.
I have been rebuilding the carbs of the DT30, since the ’89 carbs (#3 carb) will allow the engine to idle on all three cylinders. My goal is to mount all 3 DT30 carbs to the DT30 intake manifold and just do a complete swap out.
However, the DT30 intake has three (3) brass ports in the manifold, one for each cylinder. I see on the (disassembled) block where the hoses would connect to the intake and where they “T” all the way down to one hose but do not know what it’s for. My ’99 does not have this type of intake, it does not have the brass ports.
Any help would be appreciated.
