DF 140 input shaft removal

I was hoping someone could walk me through on how to remove the input shaft from the lower unit. I have a 2005 DF 140. Thank you.

If you are tring to remove drive shaft then will have to remove prop shaft bearing carrier to get access to pinion nut on drive shaft.
