82 dt25pvz, no spark

acquired this engine as is, it's clean w/good compression. getting fuel, no spark.
I have a manual on order but personal experience is the best help.
where to start and order to follow. also neutral safety switch broken. and removed. bypass switch and connect or leave open leads.

Hi , i bought a 1982 DT 28 and it had no spark, where the coil is mounted to engine was pretty rusty so i removed it , filed both surfaces and had instant spark , worth a try,

Regarding the neutral safety switch. do I connect the wires together to bypass the switch or leave the leads open. I didn't explain that very well in the org. post. thanks all
