Just received main wiring harness 36620-93J62 for my 2005 DF 90 most of the connections are self explanatory but this has a few extra wires than the older 36620-93J60. Anyone know specifically what these are for ?

since no one else has replied..
looking in the manaul there are 2 models a tiller and a remote..that could be part of the difference.. and the 93J60 was replaced by 93J61 and further replaced by 93J62
my best guess is that the updated cable then fits multiple engines

So this harness is being made with fittings applicable to a wide assortment of motors. To me it is a one piece fits all .. cheaper for them to make one replacement cable with extra fittings than a whole bunch of different ones.. -
Thanks for your reply,the original ****60 was no longer available so I had to go with the ***62 which was a bit more expensive but so be it. Yes it does fit several models from 2005 up, I will compare the number and color of wires to a diagram it should tell me what they go too.Comment
