2004 DF250 Single Control Box adjustment

I have a 2004 DF225 with a top mount single control box. Although I have only 300 hrs on the engine the control linkage is sloppy and out of adjustment. Neutral is almost impossible to find, it clunks into forward and takes two hands to pull into reverse. The control box and linkage adjustment was already marginal the day I picked up the boat in 2005. In 2006 brought it back for readjustment it was hardly any better. I am searching for the control box (p/n 67000-93J00) and linkage adjustment procedures but cannot find them anywhere. Can anyone help. Thanks Emil

Control Box

Sounds like you have bad cables. You can buy all bushings for control box. Disconnect cables at box and shift and throttle to see which cables are bad. I have never had to replace control box.
